Learning in Regeneration Skills Pack

Introduction
A learner's skill pack flexible enough to support the learning needs of everyone involved in community regeneration, irrespective of their role or background; also encourages a commitment to learning from individuals and their organisations.
Problem
The skills pack can support learners to deal with all the issues they face and to effectively help them through all stages of the learning cycle from initial identification of needs through to choice of learning method, transfer of learning to working practice, and evaluation.
Description
The 'Learning in Regeneration Skills Pack' was launched on 29 November in Glasgow.
The pack aims:
  • to help learners identify skills they have and how to make the most of them;
  • to find out skills needed to be more effective;
  • to understand more about learning;
  • and to support others within the organisation to develop their skills.
Approach
The pack is aimed at everyone involved, or would like to get involved in community regeneration including volunteers, committee members, paid staff in the public or voluntary sectors. The pack is available to download from the website.
